Description

A major water authority are currently looking for a Capability Mapping & Process Design Specialist to join the Strategic Design function of the wholesale business.
The role is based in Sussex however flexible working is on offer with the successful candidate expected to work in the office 2 days per week.
The function is responsible for transforming the business to meet environmental, customer, stakeholder and shareholder expectations. The team and programme is specifically focusing on the transformation of logistics, control and maintenance activities. The Capability Mapping & Process Design Specialists ensure business processes are designed and the correct capability is in place to implement business improvements and deliver performance, financial and service benefits.

The Role
Accountabilities will include: • Responsible for defining processes for the business to deliver on strategic outcomes • Defining the capability required to implement the processes • Data-led continuous improvement to challenge, iterate and optimise the process and capability designs • Documentation ownership and change control to keep processes up to date • Design and deliver training plans

Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to Degree level qualification and will be able to demonstrate Process mapping, development and optimisation skills along with sound data analysis skills
Practical experience of delivering change is essential as is an understanding of control, logistic and operational functions within a utilities company.
Lean and agile experience and qualifications are desirable.
