Description
Due to an increase in work on their framework a specialist water contractor is seeking to appoint a Project Engineer to complement their team.
This presents an excellent opportunity for a career minded Engineer to join a growing business that have visibility of work for the next six years.
Projects are around Sussex, Surrey and parts of Hampshire and tend to be MEICA & electrical related schemes value at £500K - £1M each.
The role will suit an ambitious and dedicated Engineer seeking a long term career opportunity within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager responsibilities will include:
Managing subcontractors on site ensuring that correct levels of materials and resources
Manage the works programme and create weekly reports for the Project Manager, reporting on both costs and progress
Accurately record any change to the programme whilst keeping a careful eye on budgets.
Experience Required
Suitable applicants must be educated HNC/ BSc level in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. You will ideally have previous MEICA experience and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the water sector. You will be commercially astute and be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel. NEBOSH or IOSH Certificates are highly desirable.
