Description
Projects are water related civil engineering schemes administered on a framework under NEC terms and conditions.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager you will provide leadership and support to junior members of the QS team as well as strategic input to the direction and running of the framework
The framework turn over is £50M per annum and duties will include:
Supporting the tendering process whilst identifying risks and opportunities
Monitoring budgets and ensuring best practice is achieved to ensure efficiencies are met
Oversee cost valuations and cost reporting and cash flow management
Built and maintain excellent working relationships with the entire supply chain
Oversee the change management and administration on the contract.
Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate significant experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector.
The ability to process high volume of data and interpret Excel Spreadsheets is essential
You will have successful track record in the commercial delivery of a portfolio of works as the lead QS.
