Description

Due to in increase in allocated work a Civil Engineering and Utility Contractor with a turnover of circa £300M is seeking to appoint a Senior QS to work on projects across London and North Kent.

The Role
Working on a utility framework you will manage a number of schemes at anyone time with a combined value of £10M. Project works are power related and range from the installation of cable ducts on a large scale (over 20km) or refurbishments / fit out of existing assets.
Reporting to the commercial manger your duties will include subcontract management, cost reporting and cost reconciliations.
This opportunity offers a varied QS role working for well established contractor with healthy order books for the next few years.

Experience Required
To be considered you will be educated to HNC/ BSc Quantity Surveying and be able to demonstrate experience working on civil engineering, utility or ideally power projects in the UK.
An excellent understanding of NEC contracts is essential.
