Description
The Project Manager will be required to manage the construction of an HV Sub-Station forming part of the wider HS2 project. The company provide ongoing training and career development opportunities and employees are encouraged to work across the different divisions, infrastructure, water and power.
The Role
Reporting to the Programme Delivery Manager the PM will develop the programme of works and provide leadership and guidance to the Site Agents and wider operational team.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
Manage site teams involved in the construction and installation works, including Sub-Stations, OHL and cable connections
Assume responsibility for making sure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget
Write risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
Liaise clients and customers and stakeholders.
Compile monthly reports
Experience Required
Suitable candidates will hold a qualification in Electrical Engineering and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success delivering 11KV or 33KV projects.
SMSTS Card is essential. A good level of contractual and commercial awareness is essential as are first class communication skills.
