Description
This is a key strategic role reporting in to the Regional Director and will assume overall responsibility for the delivery of the replacement of mains pipeline with a projected value of circa £120M.
This role could be on a hybrid working basis.
The Role
The Programme Delivery Manager will lead the delivery of a portfolio of project from detailed design to introduction into service.
Key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the appropriate management of resources whilst also directing and leading the supply chain to ensure required business outcomes are achieved.
Ensuring that all projects are delivered within agreed parameters for quality, cost and time, ensuring they meet intended outcomes, customer service levels, quality and health and safety standards and handover.
Management and reporting against the budgets for all projects.
Experience Required
Suitable applicants will be educated to HNC / BSc in related discipline and have experience of managing the delivery of high value capital investment programmes or large R&M projects within the utilities sector
The Programme Delivery Manager will have excellent commercial acumen and a proven track record of success of managing the P&L on a large programme of works
Will be able to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the demands of multiple stakeholders and suppliers
Proven programme and project management experience and related qualifications
